Job summary

rms Company, part of the Cretex Medical family, seeks an EDM CNC Machinist to operate EDM CNC machines and support the manufacture of medical implants and components. Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 3:30pm to 3:30am.

Responsibilities include operating EDM CNC machines, performing quality inspections, completing tool changes, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance.

Qualifications

• Operator experience with EDM CNC machines
• Strong math background with shop math
• Understanding of GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using a microscope
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

EDM CNC Machinist Position Summary

The EDM CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.

Shifts Available

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 3:30pm to 3:30am

Responsibilities

EDM CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate EDM CNC machines
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on Swiss CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

Pay Range

USD $21.20 - USD $30.72 /Hr.
