Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. in Mason, OH seeks an EDM Applications Engineer to develop and improve EDM parameters, translate prints into shop instructions, and train Operators on the floor. You will work with the Applications Engineering Manager as the EDM SME, coordinating on-site OEM training and driving process improvements.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or 3–5 years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Comfortable working with standard math concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions) in practical shop situations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Siemens NX
• Experience with Mitsubishi and/or Sodick EDM
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Proven analytical and organizational ability
• Proactive thinking and problem-solving ability
• Able to operate autonomously and self-direct
• Able to meet U.S. person / ITAR work-authorization requirements — Hi-Tek is ITAR-registered and works directly with DoD and aerospace OEM customers

Physical Demands

• Lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds
• Bend, crouch, and reach at least 50% of scheduled shift

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

$100,000–$140,000 per year, based on experience. Full-time, on-site in Mason, Ohio. Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
