Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer, editorial designer, or art director.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, composition, color, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating editorial, poster, marketing, or brand layouts.
• Expert-level proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalents.
• Strong knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Annotate editorial, poster, marketing assets using a defined annotation framework.
• Analyze video clips and describe composition, framing, movement, using professional terms.
• Deconstruct designs into underlying elements and layers.
• Document hierarchy, typography, spacing, and visual style with structured metadata.
• Create exemplar annotations that set benchmarks for the dataset.
• Identify ambiguous designs and edge cases within the framework.
• Provide detailed feedback to improve guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with project and quality teams to maintain consistency.
• Use design tools to inspect and structure layered files.
• Apply professional judgment to distinguish design choices from issues.
