Author Solutions, LLC is seeking an Editorial Standards Specialist in Bloomington, IN. This full-time role supports authors through the editorial services process, replies to inquiries, and coordinates with editors to ensure timely manuscript turnaround.

The ESS handles scheduling, trafficking, and administrative tasks while upholding high quality standards and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Communications, or Journalism.
• Two to three years’ prior customer or administrative service experience.
• Editing/Publishing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and follow up with authors after an editorial service is performed.
• Manage authors in workload through the editorial services process.
• Answer general factual questions by phone and email; route inquiries to appropriate departments.
• Assist authors by communicating feedback to editors and completing editorial forms or questionnaires.
• Pass along white papers, guidelines, and other editorial information to authors.
