ACOG is seeking an Editorial Specialist to edit and proofread content for consumer books, patient education materials, journals, continuing medical education, and more. You will collaborate with authors, editors, and staff on the Publishing and Product Development team to uphold editorial standards.
The role requires strong editing skills, keen attention to detail, and knowledge of medical terminology. It is a hybrid position requiring occasional office presence in Washington, D.C.
The Editorial Specialist is responsible for meticulously editing and proofreading content for all ACOG publications, including consumer books, patient education materials, the peer-reviewed journals, continuing medical education, coding resources, marketing and communications, and other internal- and external-facing ACOG documents and presentations. This role involves interacting with authors, editors, other member volunteers, and staff on the Publishing and Product Development team and across ACOG departments to ensure thorough content review.
The Editorial Specialist must have strong editing skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Note: This position is considered Hybrid and will need to commute to ACOG's office located in Washington, D.C.
Salary Range: $52,000 USD - $62,000 USD
