Job summary

PBS39 in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Content Operations Lead to serve as the daily editorial engine. You will keep the team organized, manage the content calendar, and ensure stories and newsletters publish on time and to LVPM’s standards.

You will directly supervise multimedia journalists, green-light pitches, and coordinate with the VP of Content and other leads to move content across platforms. Strong editing, coordination, and newsroom leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional journalism or editorial leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating a newsroom or multi-platform team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and weekly editorial workflow, assignments, deadlines, and calendar.
• Edit and guide multimedia reporting across digital, newsletter, audio, and social formats.
• Own the editorial production of newsletters and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide editorial coaching and feedback to reporters and editors.
