Job summary

Mansueto Ventures, publisher of Inc. and Fast Company, seeks editorial interns for a rotating 12-week program in Fall, Spring, and Summer. Work 35 hours/week on a hybrid schedule at our NYC office (7 World Trade Center). Undergraduate interns earn $17/hour; graduate interns $20/hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Interns will pitch stories, write for Inc.com and FastCompany.com, and assist with franchise packages, research, and content production with video and social teams.

Qualifications

• Be a current undergraduate or graduate student.
• Interest in business journalism and entrepreneurship.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience reporting, writing and fact-checking for college newspapers or internships preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Responsibilities

Mansueto Ventures, publisher of Inc. and Fast Company is looking for editorial interns on a rotating basis for Fall, Spring and Summer internships for both brands. As an editorial intern, you will be directly involved in the overall editorial process, seeing your stories develop from start to finish. This is an especially good opportunity for aspiring business journalists, but any with intense curiosity about the way the world works will find an enriching professional and personal experience will be considered and should apply.

Inc. chronicles the world of entrepreneurship, providing business owners with the information, advice, and inspiration they need to lead their growing companies. This is a 12-week program, 35 hours per week, on a hybrid schedule Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at our office in 7 World Trade Center, NYC. Hourly rate is $17 for undergraduate students and $20 for graduate students.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
