Job description

About the Role

As our editorial support expands, we are building a scalable Editorial Enablement function that helps clients create stronger, more effective content experiences. The Editorial Enablement Coordinator will support the Editorial Enablement Manager by managing editorial workflows, assisting with content reviews, maintaining resources and best practices, and helping partners successfully navigate the content development process.

This role is ideal for an early-career editorial professional who is organized, curious, and passionate about creating high-quality, newsworthy content that delivers value for audiences and partners. Success in this role means helping the Editorial Enablement Manager operate efficiently while ensuring partners receive thoughtful, actionable guidance—continuing to build and expand a repeatable system for delivering editorial expertise at scale, improving content quality, strengthening partner relationships, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

About Stacker

Stacker is revolutionizing the traditional newswire business model and the ways in which brand newsrooms and publishers connect. Our platform helps over 100 content contributors - brands, nonprofit newsrooms, and others - extend the reach of their content by seamlessly integrating with a network of thousands of trusted news publishers.

Stacker helps brands get their stories in front of more readers by syndicating content across a large-scale publisher network, enabling organizations to expand the reach and impact of their earned and owned media.

As a bootstrapped, fast-growing company, we're resourceful, innovative, and committed to building an inclusive, equitable culture. We are a remote-first team that values ownership, integrity, and collaboration—offering flexible schedules, unlimited vacation, an employee equity program, and full health & dental coverage. We champion long-term impact over short-term gains and believe in empowering our team with autonomy and opportunities for career growth.

What You'll Do
Editorial Operations (40%)
  • Track, prioritize, and follow up on editorial requests through ClickUp, and monitor project timelines, deadlines, and partner deliverables.
  • Keep editorial dashboards and reporting up to date to track workload, trends, and impact, and coordinate communications between editorial teams, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help refine editorial processes, workflows, and documentation as the program grows.
Content Support (30%)
  • Assist with content reviews and editorial quality checks across partner submissions, including basic content audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess content against editorial guidelines, audience needs, and quality standards, and identify content gaps and opportunities.
  • Prepare editorial recommendations and actionable feedback for partners.
Editorial Enablement (20%)
  • Keep editorial resources, guidelines, and best practices current.
  • Help create training materials and partner-facing documentation, and support partner education initiatives to improve content quality and consistency.
  • Help partners understand editorial expectations and processes.
Research & Insights (10%)
  • Monitor content trends, audience behavior, and industry best practices, and identify emerging editorial opportunities across industries and topics.
  • Contribute to reporting and insights that demonstrate editorial impact.
About You

You're an early-career editorial professional who is organized, curious, and passionate about creating high-quality, newsworthy content that delivers real value for audiences and partners. You have strong writing and editing skills, a clear sense of what makes content succeed in a newsroom or digital publishing environment, and the confidence to work across a wide range of subject areas—from insurance and AI to travel and food.

You're comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines at once, and you bring a strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture: helping partners build stronger, more effective content over time.

What You'll Bring
  • 1–2 years of experience in editorial, content, journalism, publishing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality standards.
  • Understanding of what makes content successful in a newsroom or digital publishing environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and work across diverse subject areas.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience working with content management systems, project management tools, or editorial workflows.
  • Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, and working website knowledge.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams, external partners, or clients.
  • Curiosity and adaptability when working across industries including travel, food, technology, insurance, AI, and other verticals.
Why Join Us?

We're a diverse team of storytellers committed to building a more exciting, innovative future for media and marketing. As a bootstrapped company, we're resourceful, fast-moving, and focused on sustainable growth.
