Job summary

Thorlabs is seeking an Editorial Content Strategist to strengthen our position as a leading photonics tools manufacturer. The role ensures high-quality, accurate technical content across the ecommerce site and marketing channels, with emphasis on CMS (D365) processes and brand standards.

The candidate will lead the Science Writer team, guide content roadmaps, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to improve site navigation, product messaging, and user experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical content creation
• Excellent writing, editing and presentation in English
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical accuracy and brand alignment of content across ecommerce and marketing channels
• Review materials as Editorial Gatekeeper using CMS, ERP (D365) and marketing processes
• Keep ECO updates and New Product Introductions live within 24 hours of information
• Coach and develop Science Writer team to sharpen product value propositions
• Develop content roadmaps and oversee execution of complex projects
• Drive content strategy to improve user experience and site navigation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information and implement tools
• Use sales and Google Analytics data to inform web placement and SEO efforts
• Oversee projects and teams for technology integrations and site enhancements
