Job summary

Pubity Group seeks an Editor to shape its new editorial function for a global Gen-Z audience. You will develop original reporting, set editorial voice, and oversee sourcing, verification, and publication across social, newsletters, and owned platforms.

You'll lead a team, partner with contributors and reporters, and help build repeatable formats while maintaining high standards of accuracy and ethics in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in journalism or digital media with a track record as an editor or senior journalist
• Strong news judgment and a track record of identifying resonant stories and angles
• Direct experience developing and editing original reporting with reporters and sources
• Excellent writing, editing, and headline skills for clear and compelling stories
• Knowledge of how news travels across Instagram, TikTok, and the social internet
• Experience contributing to or developing an editorial product, desk, or team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Pubity's editorial proposition across news, culture, entertainment, internet trends, and audience storytelling
• Shape the daily news agenda, decide what stories matter and where Pubity adds value
• Develop an editorial voice that makes fast-moving stories accessible and engaging for younger audiences
• Spot emerging stories early, combining editorial instinct with social platform insight
• Develop original reporting including sourcing, interviewing, exclusives, and breaking stories
• Create repeatable formats and franchises across explainers, interviews, and features
• Apply sourcing, verification, attribution, corrections, and high editorial standards
