The Iberoamerican Journal of Science Measurement and Communication is looking for an Editor-in-Chief to lead the editorial process. This role involves overseeing peer review, managing journal issues, and contributing strategic insights while interacting with authors and reviewers to enhance science communication and public understanding.
The Iberoamerican Journal of Science Measurement and Communication (IJSMC) seeks a new Editor-in-Chief (EiC).The journal focuses on public understanding of science, science communication, citizen science, science-society relations, bibliometrics, and the evaluation of scientific activity. The journal is indexed in Scopus (Q1), EBSCO, ProQuest, and Google Scholar.
The EiC will oversee the peer review process and collaborate with the reviewers and authors throughout the editorial process. The role includes coordinating the journal’s issues, providing strategic input, and managing the editorial workflow through the OJS platform.
The journal has a compensation system to discuss confidently with the selected candidate.
