You’ll shape rhythm and pacing, collaborating with Creative Directors, Strategists, and Motion Designers to deliver compelling videos that resonate on multiple platforms. Reporting to a Senior Editor, you’ll guide projects from rough cuts to final delivery, blending visuals, sound, and motion for high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional editing experience in an agency, studio, or production environment.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects and Photoshop are a plus.
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition across formats.
  • Experience editing short-form and long-form content for social, digital, and commercial platforms.
  • Ability to creatively manipulate footage and enhance edits with motion graphics, color, and sound design.
  • Collaborates with directors, designers, and strategists to refine creative execution.
  • Attention to detail with pixel-perfect edits and timely deliveries.
  • Strong time management; can handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive, creative mindset focused on visual storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Watson is looking for a skilled, creative Editor who can craft compelling narratives and elevate visual storytelling across campaigns.

In this role, you’ll transform footage into polished, engaging content—shaping the rhythm, pacing, and emotion of each piece. Beyond technical expertise, you’ll bring a sharp storytelling instinct, collaborating closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, and Motion Designers to develop content that resonates across platforms.

Reporting to a Senior Editor, you’ll be involved in all phases of production, from assembling rough cuts to final delivery. Your ability to blend visuals, sound, and motion seamlessly will be key to delivering high-quality, impactful work.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional editing experience in an agency, studio, or production environment.

  • Confidence and professional expertise regarding best practices across all social platforms.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Due to the collaborative nature of this role, the right candidate will need to be based in Los Angeles or open to relocating.
