Your Mission

As the Editor of Pocket Toons, you will be the guardian of storytelling excellence. You’ll work closely with writers, artists, and production teams to ensure our webtoons don’t just exist—but captivate, inspire, and leave audiences craving the next episode. You will be the architect of how words meet visuals, shaping our platform’s voice and setting new standards for digital comics.

What You'll Be Doing

• Transform stories into visual magic—work with writers to adapt our hit audio stories into binge-worthy webtoons, ensuring that every dialogue, plot twist, and visual panel keeps readers hooked.
• Edit and oversee multiple series—juggle multiple comic projects simultaneously, ensuring each episode is polished, engaging, and released on schedule.
• Bring characters to life—collaborate with artists to make sure every emotion, action, and scene leaps off the screen.
• Guide the creative process—offer writers and artists insightful feedback to elevate their work while maintaining the unique tone and voice of each series.
• Shape the visual language—review artwork and lettering, ensuring consistency, flow, and aesthetic alignment with the story’s vision.
• Build a dream team—scout, hire, and mentor emerging talent in the webtoons space, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Experiment and push boundaries—stay ahead of industry trends, experiment with new storytelling formats, and explore interactive or multimedia integrations.

• 2+ years of experience in editing comics, webtoons, or visual storytelling formats.
• A strong editorial eye with a proven track record of shaping compelling narratives.
• Experience working with comic artists and graphic designers to ensure seamless storytelling through visuals.
• An understanding of story pacing, character development, and visual storytelling techniques specific to webcomics.
• A pulse on global trends in webtoons, pop culture, and digital entertainment.

Bonus Points If You…

• Are fluent in multiple languages and can help bring diverse stories to international audiences.
• Have experience developing interactive or multimedia storytelling projects.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools like Photoshop or Clip Studio (bonus points if you've worked directly on webtoon formatting).
