Role Description

We’re offering multiple full-time, on-site Editor roles for various different genres based in instagram. The Editor will manage the end-to-end editorial process, including reviewing submissions for our blog, collaborating with contributors, and overseeing content development for publication. Responsibilities include editing and proofreading content to maintain high-quality standards, curating thematic issues, and working closely with the design and production team to finalize layouts. The Editor will also play a role in strategizing and implementing outreach efforts to discover new voices and expand the publication’s visibility.

Qualifications

• Editing, Proofreading, and Copyediting skills to ensure high-quality and polished content
• Creative Writing, Story Development, and Literary Analysis skills to work effectively with contributors and develop compelling themes
• Collaboration skills to manage timelines and coordinate with the editorial and design teams
• Experience in Publishing (preferebally in other nonpeofits or magazines) to strengthen the magazine’s offerings and audience engagement
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
