CGS is seeking an eDiscovery Technician to join our team supporting the legal organization within a large Federal agency.

Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
  • Digest cover letters and provide brief descriptions of productions.
  • Obtain passwords for encrypted media when no password is provided.
  • Determine if cover letters contain substantive information for loading into Relativity.
  • Virus scan productions using multiple antivirus software and tools.
  • Follow protocol to address or reject issues detected during virus scanning.
  • Copy virus-free productions to the Agency's network.
  • Handle documents according to specific protocols, including whistleblower, RFPA, MOU, international, BSA, audio, transcripts, laptops, or paper.
  • Analyze productions to determine processing requirements and protocol adherence.
  • Ensure data completeness and inspect load-ready data for components.
  • Monitor incoming productions via email and FTP.
  • Scan and OCR paper documents for Relativity loading; coordinate off-site scanning for large sets.
Qualifications
  • Three years of eDiscovery technical experience supporting project requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (additional relevant work experience may substitute).
  • Knowledge of information resources.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks as described above.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Ideally, You Will Also Have
  • Experience with government software policies and procedures.
  • Client-facing communication experience.
  • Federal security clearance.
