GDH is seeking detail-oriented eDiscovery Specialists to join the InfoSec eDiscovery team. The role focuses on managing legal holds, custodian data preservation, and data subject access requests across a global portfolio.

Ideal candidates have investigations backgrounds and will document actions thoroughly and communicate clearly with legal teams. The position supports full lifecycle matters—from intake to closure—ensuring defensible records and compliant workflows, with readiness to work

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in investigations, legal operations, compliance, law enforcement, corporate security, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, information technology, paralegal studies, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing cases from intake to closure with disciplined documentation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support active matters throughout their full lifecycle: intake, triage, preservation, and closure, maintaining accurate records at each stage.
  • Place, confirm, track, and lift legal holds, ensuring comprehensive data source coverage and proper documentation of actions.
  • Monitor active cases for stalled items, missing confirmations, or approaching deadlines; escalat proactively to prevent delays.
  • Assist in law enforcement response workflows: process incoming requests, apply retention and preservation actions, track deadlines, and coordinate with legal teams.
  • Support investigation activities: assess scope, apply initial preservation steps, document chain of custody, and escalat issues as needed.
  • Maintain detailed, defensible investigation records, documenting actions, status, and custody information throughout the matter lifecycle.
  • Conduct forensic imaging of laptops, mobile devices, and storage media, managing chain of custody and inventory accurately.
  • Follow lab protocols for evidence handling, labeling, and secure storage; escalat deviations immediately.
  • Execute operational workflows from intake through closure, ensuring compliance and thorough documentation.
  • Communicate project updates effectively during team meetings, escalat time-sensitive issues, and resolve blockers independently.

  • Demonstrated discretion handling sensitive personnel, legal, and law enforcement information.
  • Ability to operate within structured team processes and escalat issues proactively.
  • Availability to work remotely in an approved location.
Publishing Pay Range:

$70.00 – $80.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
