Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an AI/ML/NLP engineer in the United States to prototype and deploy NLP/IR/ML solutions on client datasets. You'll leverage Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock for tasks including summarization, classification, and entity extraction, and build RAG pipelines, semantic search, and evaluation metrics.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in NLP/IR/ML, strong Python/R skills, and can travel to client sites and FTI offices as needed. US work authorization is required for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical, relevant experience building NLP/IR/ML systems, from ideation to production.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• High level of analytical programming competency (e.g., Python, R).
• Hands-on development with LLMs, deep learning NLP models and traditional ML techniques.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
