Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Edifecs Lead) for a remote, U.S.-based role supporting VA. The position requires extensive EDIFECS/EDI experience, strong AWS know-how, and proven leadership to drive roadmap and ensure operational stability.

The ideal candidate will guide architecture choices, manage staff, and collaborate with product, architecture, and security teams, while overseeing Edifecs XEServer, XEngine, TPMs, and SpecBuilder deployments.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise app ops with strong AWS experience.
Deep hands-on EDIFECS experience in X12 transactions and EDI workflows.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement; able to translate tech to non-tech.

Responsibilities

Act as Edifecs Platform Manager, ensuring stability, scalability, compliance, and alignment.
Provide technical oversight, manage staffing, and drive roadmap execution.
Guide architecture decisions, cloud scalability, and performance strategies.
Configure and maintain Edifecs components including TPMs and SpecBuilder.
Support EDI Analysts with rule deployment, routing, and batch workflows.
