Job summary

Bosch Rexroth, HydraForce unit, seeks a Senior EDI / Business Applications Analyst to lead complex EDI and ERP integration initiatives. You will design, implement, and support EDI solutions, partnering with business users, IT teams, and external trading partners.

You will drive mapping configurations, testing, and deployment of Sterling Integrator-based processes, while also supporting SAP and other ERP applications and advancing key business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a similar field required.
• Extensive experience with IBM Sterling Integrator for EDI development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ERP environments and SAP transactions for EDI troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards.
• Ability to document mappings and support procedures clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey technical concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Setup of new trading partners for EDI via Sterling Integrator mailbox functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex EDI Trading Partner implementations from requirements to post-production support.

Job Description

The Senior EDI / Business Applications Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and senior technical resource responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, integration, and support of mission-critical business processes and enterprise applications. The position provides advanced expertise in EDI and ERP integrations while increasingly contributing to broader business application initiatives.

This role leads complex EDI Trading Partner implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, EDI map and business process configuration, testing, implementation, and post-production support. The position works closely with internal business stakeholders, IT teams, external Trading Partners, and translates business requirements into effective and sustainable integration solutions.

The Senior Analyst is expected to independently troubleshoot complex integration issues, identify root causes, recommend improvements, and drive solutions across system boundaries. In addition to EDI responsibilities, the role may support ERP, SAP, and other enterprise applications and participate in application enhancements, implementations, and strategic initiatives that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and create new EDI business processes facilitating trading partner on-boarding.
• Develop strong working relationships with business users and trading partners to gather requirements, resolve issues, implement solutions, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide daily EDI support, monitor interfaces, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Lead the design and implementation of EDI business processes, including Trading Partner onboarding, enhancements, and migration projects.
• Responsible for documenting mapping specifications and storing documentation in the appropriate repository.
• Develop/support Sterling Integrator Business Processes.
• Develop/support translation processes from varying formats into ERP.
• Must be able to effectively balance time resources to perform simultaneous work on multiple projects.
• Create system development plans, and define the objectives and scope of projects. Provide advice on business process and system designs that solve business problems or exploit business opportunities.
• Resolve problems, implement new systems, and identify opportunities for business improvement.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or similar field.
• Extensive experiencewith IBM Sterling Integrator, including Business Process development, configuration, mapping, and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experienceworking with ERP environments.
• Experience with SAP transactions commonly used for EDI troubleshooting, such as WE05, WE19, BD87, WE20 (a plus)
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT) including 830, 850, 856, 810.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, and support procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and competing deadlines independently.
• Setup/configuration of new trading partners to exchange EDI transactions through Sterling Integrator Mailbox functions (ASN, SFTP, OFTP, VAN).
• Ability to provide after-hours support

Additional Information

Yearly salary range $112,000-$120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
