Job summary

KASAI North America is seeking a Shipping Clerk in Manchester, TN to coordinate ASN communications with customers and organize shipment schedules. The role involves printing schedules, labeling, and ensuring accuracy of shipments.

Responsibilities include handling bills of lading, maintaining records, and communicating status updates via email or phone. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED.
• Two years related work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electronic communications (transmission of Advanced Shipping Notifications: ASN's) between KASAI North America and its customers regarding outbound shipments.
• Receive and organize customer shipment schedules.
• Print applicable shipment schedules, master schedules and appropriate shipping labels per KASAI/customer requirements.
• Ensure shipment accuracy and issues applicable bills of lading (BOL).
• Maintains accurate records of necessary data based on record retention requirements.
• Communicates status updates to customers through appropriate communication channels (e-mail, phone....etc.).
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
