Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking an EDI Analyst to strengthen the Accounts Payable team in Oak Brook, IL. You will monitor EDI invoice processing accuracy, reduce errors, and partner with vendors to drive sustainable improvements.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving and cross-functional collaboration. You will build reports, analyze exceptions, and deliver KPI scorecards to track performance while supporting daily AP operations and training teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, corporate Accounts Payable environment.
• Knowledge of EDI segments and elements.
• Understanding end-to-end AP processes and related finance impacts (stock replenishment, drop ship).
• Ability to understand cross-functional finance impacts.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: build/review reports to identify EDI errors and inefficiencies.
• Critical Thinking: determine root causes and partner with vendors for sustainable solutions.
• KPI Reporting: develop scorecards on invoice processing accuracy and EDI rejection rates.
• Continuous Improvement: identify and implement EDI process improvements.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: lead teams to drive accuracy and efficiency in error resolution.
• Training: provide ongoing support to business partners and AP team members.
• Support: assist the manager in overseeing daily AP department operations.
