Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation seeks an experienced EDI Analyst to join the Accounts Payable team in Oak Brook, IL. The role focuses on ensuring accurate EDI invoice processing, reducing errors, and partnering with vendors and business partners to drive efficiency.

You will build reports, monitor KPI performance, identify root causes, and lead cross-functional teams through issue resolution while delivering training and daily support to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume corporate Accounts Payable environment with vendor relationships and payment processing.
• Working knowledge of EDI and ability to read EDI segments and elements.
• Understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and related finance impacts.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis to identify EDI errors and improve processing accuracy.
• Evaluate exception errors and root causes with vendors for sustainable solutions.
• Develop KPI scorecards on invoice processing accuracy, EDI rejection rates, and errors.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance EDI processes and workflows.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the EDI error resolution process.
• Provide training and ongoing support to business partners and AP staff.
• Support daily AP department operations with the manager.
