The University of Virginia's School of Education and Human Development seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Human Services to teach and provide content expertise for programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs and appointments are typically for teaching a single course. This is an at-will faculty wage position which does not carry benefits. Opportunities may be available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online. If no position is currently available, we will retain submitted applications on file for future consideration for a period of one year.
A terminal degree is preferred, but not required, in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught is required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Previous K-12 or higher education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.
