Job summary

Bellmont Cabinet Co is seeking an Edgeband Operator for the day shift in Sumner, WA. The role focuses on applying edge banding to cabinet components, ensuring clean, professional edges and high-quality finishes in a fast-paced machining department.

You will maintain your machine, verify barcodes and piece quality, and help meet daily production goals. Teamwork, critical thinking, and a commitment to safety are essential in our collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience, ideally in cabinetry or wood products.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
• Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces and barcodes.
• A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply edge banding to cabinet components for a polished, professional finish.
• Clean and maintain your machine and work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Verify barcodes and quality of each piece before moving jobs to the next production stage.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members across your department to support production flow and improve overall quality and efficiency.
• Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.
