Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in a professional environment.
• 2+ years in a technical lead or engineering lead role.
• Go as a primary systems language for production.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes in production.
• Systems-level Linux expertise and containers under the hood.
• Ability to mentor engineers and raise technical standards.
• Secret clearance and Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery for an edge software product line from prototype through fielded capability.
• Build and maintain Go services for disconnected, intermittently connected environments.
• Design Kubernetes-native systems and workload architecture with Helm and operators.
• Own the Kubernetes runtime story including edge hardware and air-gapped deployment.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines that produce signed, scanned, reproducible artifacts.
• Interface with customers to translate operator needs into requirements.
• Mentor engineers, set technical standards, and perform code reviews.
