Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Site Services and Edge Network Services (ENS) DC Capacity & Network team. In this role, you will support the deployment, integration, and ongoing operational health of network infrastructure across Meta's global site portfolio.

You will work at the intersection of structured cabling, IP networking, and physical layer systems to ensure reliable connectivity for hyperscale data center and campus environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed prior to joining Meta.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• 2+ years deploying, operating, or supporting large-scale network infrastructure.
• Experience analyzing operational datasets to identify trends.
• Experience troubleshooting network incidents across multiple layers.
• 2+ years hands-on with network hardware and physical layer infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and integration of network infrastructure across Meta's site portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to resolve incidents.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities across deployment workflows and support procedures.
• Provide field feedback to inform future designs and scalability.
• Analyze fault trends and deployment metrics to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain network asset records and runbooks for auditable operations.
• Collaborate with automation teams to reduce manual tasks.
• Provide technical guidance to vendors and field technicians.
• Communicate project status and metrics to stakeholders.
• International and domestic travel may be required up to 25%.
