Job summary

You will lead end-to-end delivery and mentor teammates while collaborating with product and billing teams.

The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and architectural planning for a growing product catalog in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and operating highly available, reliable data pipelines and distributed systems that process large volumes of data at scale.
• 5+ years building systems that collect, aggregate, and derive insights from large datasets.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects from design to post-launch.
• Design for downstream users and ensure reliable, well-instrumented data pipelines.
• Implement testing and observability that drive value and reduce toil.
• Experience with relational and non-relational storage (MySQL, BigQuery, Dynamo, Cassandra).
• Experience with Pub/Sub style queues (NSQ, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis).
• Ability to leverage coding agents as part of daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, ship, and own billing infrastructure, usage APIs, and backend services from design to production.
• Mentor and grow engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure system reliability.
• Evolve tools and pipelines for billing, usage reporting, and orderability.
