Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS, EE, CE, ML or related field.
• Strong ML and DL foundation: architecture, training, evaluation.
• Knowledge of Efficient ML techniques: quantization, pruning, distillation, model compression.
• Impact of optimization on accuracy, latency, memory, compute, deployment.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Strong Python programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
• C/C++ knowledge for embedded/production systems.
• Understanding Edge ML and resource constraints.
• Ability to analyze model behavior across training to deployment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and optimize ML models for consumer audio products.
• Apply Efficient ML techniques to improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with embedded, DSP, compiler, and hardware engineers to deploy models on constrained platforms.
• Analyze deployment feedback and iterate on architectures and training methodologies.
• Adapt models to platform constraints such as unsupported operators and memory usage.
• Profile and evaluate model performance across accuracy, latency, memory footprint, model size, compute efficiency, and power usage.
• Develop and maintain repeatable workflows for training, conversion, compilation, simulation, validation, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate across ML, embedded software, DSP, hardware, compiler, and product teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
• Evaluate emerging ML technologies and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve workflows.
• Document experiments, deployment learnings, and reusable engineering practices.
• Mentor interns and co-op engineers.
