Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build and scale edge ML compute, equipment monitoring, and computer vision across our global fulfillment network. You will work from embedded Linux to cloud platforms, interfacing with real-world devices in our centers.

As a lead, you will mentor engineers, drive cross-team collaboration, and help define the next generation of edge-enabled solutions that touch millions of customers daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• Experience with OO design and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Evolve ML experimentation platform to support edge deployment workflows.
• Build and maintain edge services managing camera fleets at scale and telemetry pipelines.
• Collaborate with hardware, operations and applied science teams to ship capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and shape engineering culture.
