Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quantitative trading, quantitative research, or related capital markets roles.
• A STEM degree from a leading institution.
• Excellent Python scripting proficiency.
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and quantitative methods.
• Understanding of Canadian equity market structure and low-latency trading tech.

Responsibilities

• Build quantitative models describing market behavior and liquidity.
• Develop trading algorithms and work with engineers to deploy them.
• Manage daily trading operations of algorithmic systems.
• Respond to market conditions to optimize order placement.
• Design and maintain simulations to validate performance against historical data.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, operations and product teams.
