Job summary

Haymarket Media US in New York, NY is seeking a Front-End & AdTech Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the reliability of our Vue 3 apps, headless WordPress, and complex AdStack, balancing monetization with Core Web Vitals.

You will own Cloudflare CDN rules and Workers, deploy serverless edge solutions, manage GCP (Cloud Run, GKE) and Terraform, implement OpenTelemetry for tracing, and lead blameless post‑mortems. A cover letter and code samples are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SRE/DevOps or performance-focused engineering.
• Proficiency in Vue 3 and build tools (Vite).
• Deep WordPress WP REST API/GraphQL knowledge.
• Hands-on Cloudflare management including Workers.
• Experience with GCP (Cloud Run, GKE) and Terraform.
• Experience with Prebid.js and Google Ad Manager.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for tracing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Cloudflare CDN and caching strategies.
• Build and deploy serverless edge solutions with Cloudflare Workers.
• Own zero-downtime CI/CD pipelines for Vue 3 apps and WordPress.
• Manage GCP infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Optimize client-side monetization to reduce bundle size and latency.
• Implement OpenTelemetry for end-to-end tracing and metrics.
• Lead blameless post-mortems after performance incidents.
