Bose Corporation in Framingham, Massachusetts is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Systems Architect, Edge AI to shape the architecture of next‑generation audio devices. You will design embedded hardware/software systems, evaluate concepts for feasibility, and drive reusable architectures across Bose platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Significant experience architecting complex embedded hardware/software systems.
• Strong systems architecture experience across hardware and software.
• Experience with embedded processors, SoCs, DSPs, real‑time systems, and Linux‑based platforms.
• Strong knowledge of digital audio signal processing and audio system architectures.
• Experience deploying machine learning models on embedded/edge devices.
• Understanding edge‑ML constraints: compute, memory, power, latency, hardware acceleration.
• Demonstrated experience using AI to solve meaningful technical problems with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex embedded hardware/software solutions for Bose technologies.
• Evaluate concepts for feasibility, architectural tradeoffs, risk, and scalability.
• Translate audio, sensing, ML, and AI into reusable system architectures.
• Build simulations, prototypes, and experiments to evaluate solutions.
• Develop agentic AI workflows and reusable AI-enabled engineering infrastructure.
• Stress-test architectures across power, compute, memory, latency, performance, and security.
• Architect Bose algorithms, models, frameworks, and IP for secure third‑party integration.
• Influence Bose technology roadmap with deep understanding of embedded AI and edge computing.
