Job summary

EdgeRunner AI, Inc. seeks researchers to train models, evaluate AI systems, and deploy world-class edge AI technologies for the warfighter. Candidates will explore reinforcement learning, large-scale ablations, pretraining, vision and multimodal training, and robotic integration of LLMs.

Active TS/SCI clearance is highly preferred; U.S. citizenship is required for security access. A PhD in a relevant field is preferred, with strong independence and initiative in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Eligible to receive TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Train models and evaluate AI systems and harnesses.
• Bring world-class AI to the warfighter in collaboration with EdgeRunner Research.
• Lead experiments in reinforcement learning, data ablations, pretraining, and multimodal training.
• Oversee robotic integration of LLMs and end-user model adaptation.
• Interact with customers and drive independent project ownership.
