GMD is seeking an Embedded Firmware & Computer Vision Engineer to develop AI-powered sensor solutions for climate resilience. The engineer will design efficient firmware and implement computer vision algorithms for IoT systems.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Solid knowledge of embedded programming.
• Practical experience with computer vision frameworks.
• Familiarity with IoT communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient firmware (C/C++) for IoT sensor systems.
• Implement computer vision algorithms on edge devices.
• Integrate sensor data into the GeoSenseAI® platform.
• Collaborate with hardware, data science, and geoinformatics teams.
• Perform field deployments for system installation and maintenance.
