Job summary

MatrixSpace develops AI-enabled radar and sensing systems for edge devices and is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to build high-performance software close to the hardware.

You will implement production embedded applications in C/C++, optimize for resource-constrained edge platforms, and work across Linux, networking, and system-level software while collaborating with data science teams to integrate AI/ML models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building production embedded software for constrained edge devices.
• Deep C/C++ expertise with ability to read/modify large codebases.
• W orking knowledge of Golang and Python3.8+ preferred.
• Strong Yocto-based Linux distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Port, optimize, and enhance platform software for embedded environments.
• Deploy, validate, profile, and optimize AI/ML-enabled apps on edge hardware.
• Develop production-quality software using C/C++, Python, Golang, and Linux tech.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to integrate AI/ML models.
• Work across Linux kernel, device interfaces, networking, and system-level software.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
