Job summary

Liquid AI is seeking a hands-on Developer Relations lead to ship reference apps and technical resources, engaging with developers across editorial and community channels. You will own how technical work is explained and presented to developer audiences, collaborating closely with model, platform, and product teams in a marketing & communications setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including model fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, full fine-tuning, distillation), tokenizer debugging, and a track record of shipping to production or active community environments.
• Fluent knowledge of modern AI stack and model serving frameworks; ability to evaluate quantization tradeoffs (GGUF, AWQ, GPTQ, INT8/INT4).

Responsibilities

• Be the technical voice in the community. Live where LFM developers already are — Hugging Face, GitHub, Discord, X. Answer hard questions in public, maintain Liquid's presence on the Hub, and amplify community fine-tunes and edge deployments worth seeing.
• Show up in person. Host hackathons, build nights, and technical workshops at Liquid offices and partner venues; represent Liquid at conferences and events; collaborate with hackathon organizers to promote LFMs.
• Build the on-device and adaptation story. Ship reference applications demonstrating LFMs on real edge hardware (iOS, Android, browser, Jetson, NPUs); maintain inference stacks integration recipes (llama.cpp, MLX, ONNX, executorch, LEAP SDK). Write cookbooks guiding from base model to fine-tuned deployments.
• Create content that earns trust. Develop deep technical blogs, demos, benchmarks against Qwen, Gemma, Phi, SmolLM; publish workshop materials as evergreen content.
• Close the loop. Maintain a friction log of developer pain points and feed back into roadmap conversations with model and platform teams.
