Overview

Responsible for maintaining the grounds, operating and repairing mechanical equipment, and ensuring property aesthetics meet standards in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures' mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and property, including docks, ramps, and fish cleaning areas.
• Operate and repair mechanical and landscaping equipment safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and special tasks like painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, including OSHA and SDS guidelines.
• Respond to guest requests and maintain cleanliness and safety of the grounds.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment, and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Assist with snow removal, groundskeeping, and plant care, including pest and disease management.
• Perform miscellaneous duties related to grounds and property maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, or resort maintenance preferred.
• Valid MN Driver’s License and insurability under company policy.
• Ability to obtain GRA license and comply with gaming regulations.
• Mille Lacs Band Member or American Indian preference applies.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to talk, hear, see, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and operating tools and machinery.
