Job summary

Portofino Bay Dental Care is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support clinicians, take and develop X-rays, and provide post-operative care. You will ensure patient comfort, educate patients, and manage clinical supplies while assisting the dentist in routine and urgent procedures.

The role requires a positive, outgoing personality, excellent patient care and communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent patient care skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Superior verbal and written communication in a clinical setting.
• Ability to learn new programs and handle dental tech.
• Willingness to travel for training (approximately every other month).

Responsibilities

• Take and develop X-rays and maintain lab equipment.
• Support the dentist and manage patient care during procedures.
• Assist in emergencies and maintain clinical supplies.
