Job description

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm with offices across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support eData's infrastructure, Discovery applications, and custom applications within our eData Practice Group.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager of eData Operations, the engineer will handle installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization of eDiscovery systems and applications.

This role can be based in Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, Houston, New York, or Chicago, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Installation, configuration, and upgrades of eData's hosted eDiscovery and custom applications.
2. Technical troubleshooting and system optimization.
3. Managing Windows, Linux, and enterprise SQL servers.
4. Deploying patches and updates for operating systems and applications.
5. Performing backups and restores of databases and applications.
6. Monitoring systems to ensure uptime and performance.
7. Reporting, data monitoring, and archival.
8. Migrating data between eDiscovery applications.
9. Developing custom scripts and web applications.
10. Providing level III support for client requests and incident management.
11. Offering after-hours support as needed to address incidents and system maintenance.
12. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to deploy new applications.

Experience and qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least four years of experience.
2. Familiarity with Active Directory, SAML, OpenID, TCP/IP, DNS, and SQL.
3. Strong understanding of infrastructure hardware, virtual/physical servers, storage, security, and patch management.
4. Experience administering Kcura Relativity.
5. Experience with cloud migration and provisioning is preferred.
