Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department support professional to provide EKG and phlebotomy services, assist with patient transport, and perform essential secretarial duties to keep the ED running smoothly.

Qualified candidates hold a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and CNA or EMT license, with preferred experience in emergency settings. Strong communication and prioritization skills are required to ensure excellent patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides a broad range of care including EKG and phlebotomy.
• Performs secretarial duties to support Emergency Department operations.

• Cleans and restocks medical equipment and maintains supply areas.
• Follows hospital policies to ensure patient safety during transport.

Responsibilities

• Provides a broad range of care and services to patients including EKG and phlebotomy.
• Performs secretarial duties to ensure efficient operation of the Emergency Department.
• Provides safe and accurate transportation of patients throughout the hospital.
• Performs technical duties including cleaning and restocking of medical equipment.
• Follows hospital policies and assures patient safety during transport.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic Life Support [BLS] certification required
• Certified Nurse Aide [CNA] or Emergency Medical Technician [EMT] license required
• Experience as a medical technician or patient care assistant in an Emergency setting preferred
• Knowledge of C.A.R.E. Standards
• Ability to work in a fast paced, often stressful environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to set and reset priorities.
• Excellent customer service skills
