SoftPath Medical in Burlington, MA is seeking a Teleboarding Medical Assistant for a 13-week contract in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include managing teleboarding for patients awaiting inpatient beds and maintaining a 5:1 patient-to-staff ratio.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant license, Level 1 trauma, BLS, ACLS, and Epic EMR experience. Candidates must have been separated from their prior employer for at least 6 months and no local candidates within 50 miles will be

Qualifications

Medical Assistant license.
Level 1 trauma certification.
Epic system experience.
BLS-AHA certification.
ACLS-AHA certification.
Experience with boarder patients in the Emergency Department (please indicate on resume).
Must have been separated from the previous employer for at least 6 months and be in good standing to be considered.
No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities

Manage teleboarding of patients in the Emergency Department, averaging 40 patients daily who are awaiting inpatient beds.
Typical patient-to-staff ratio is 5:1.
Day 1 tele testing is required, with practice tests completed during onboarding. Candidates must pass within two attempts during compliance.
