Job summary

Providence is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support ED nursing and LIP staff at the Mill Creek Medical Center–Everett. You will assist in patient care, coordinate with the team, and manage ED inventory on-site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, WA Phlebotomist Certification, WA Nursing Assistant Certification or License, and BLS through the American Heart Association. Full-time, evening shift with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• WA Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification required upon hire.
• WA Nursing Assistant Certification or WA Nursing Assistant Registered needed upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification (AHA) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED nursing and LIP staff in patient care.
• Serve as liaison among healthcare team, patients and families.
• Organize, replace and maintain ED inventory and supplies.
• Assist in other department-related activities.
