Job summary

UF Health in Florida is seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Technician to support the ED team with advanced physical care, clinical procedures, and patient comfort. You will work under the direction of an ED Physician and alongside registered nurses to maintain a safe, clean environment and expedite urgent care.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the RN, the ED Technician facilitates patient care by providing advanced physical care and clinical procedures, offering comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.

As a member of the Emergency Department patient care team, the ED Technician works within the guidelines of their certification and under the direct supervision of an ED Physician.
