Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required; EMT/CNA/CMA/Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and physician with assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Document patient care, including vital signs, bedside care and observations.
• Maintain readiness by tracking equipment and supplies; help conserve resources.
• Prioritize patient care and department needs; communicate changes to RN/MD.
• Provide patient and family education within scope of practice.
• Record and collect specimens as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
