Pay Range

$22.19 - $30.97 (depending on experience)

Job Summary

The ED Technician performs direct patient care and related activities under the supervision of RNs or physicians, supporting high-quality patient experiences and adhering to Summit Pacific standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care including vital signs, EKGs, wound care, and assisting with procedures.
  • Assist with triage, patient transport, and personal care needs.
  • Monitor patient responses, respond to call lights, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Support administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Respond to emergency codes and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Completion of a Washington State-approved CNA, MA, or EMT program with active certification.
  • At least two years of experience in a patient care setting; telemetry experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications

Nursing Assistant (NA-C), Medical Assistant (MA-C), or EMT with valid Washington State certification; BLS certification required upon hire; Phlebotomy certification within 6 months.

  • Knowledge of patient care practices, medical terminology, and technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality under pressure.
Work Schedule & Location

12-hour shifts, part-time, located in Elma, WA.
