Woodfords Family Services is excited to collaborate with Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) to host the Educator Apprentice Program! This innovative 18-month program is designed for individuals aspiring to become Education Technicians III. As an Apprentice, you'll gain educational credits and valuable experience by working at Woodfords' Early Childhood Preschool Special Purpose Private School.

This is a full-time, hourly position employed by Woodfords Family Services at our scenic Pineland Farms campus in New Gloucester, ME.

Opportunity Details

The program begins with a 1-week Teaching Bootcamp from August 18th-22nd, 8:00am-4:00pm. Afterward, there will be one evening per week (3:30pm-6:30pm) of classroom learning in Gorham, ME, for the duration of 18 months.

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week + Benefits
  • $20.00/hour - with potential increase upon program completion
  • Monday to Friday, with one evening per week for coursework
  • FREE to participants through SMCC
