Job Description:
Seeking ER Tech, Baptist Health Freestanding ED Urgent Care
Part-Time (24 Hours/Week), Night Shift (7p-7a)
What You'll Do:
The ER Technician functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. Their responsibilities include triaging patients, call lights, helping with varied procedure set-ups while maintaining sterile fields, cleaning and dressing wounds, assisting with casting & splinting, collecting swabs such as flu & strep, transporting patients, performing EKG’s as requested, assisting with all resuscitations in addition to either performing Foleys & urine catheters or phlebotomy.

This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care to patients conveniently under one roof. Patients will receive the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost-effective one-stop location. The emergency room will provide care on a 24/7 basis with transport services available to handle high-acuity emergency situations needing surgery. On-site imaging and laboratory services are also available.
What You'll Need:
BLS certification from approved BLS course (Required, will provide training)
1 Year of previous ER experience (Strongly preferred)
