MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, ME seeks an Emergency Services Technician to join our team. This role provides emergent/urgent patient care under medical staff direction, aligning with our mission to improve community health.

This 36-hour-per-week position includes three 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. Candidates must be CNA or EMT certified and able to lead a team, communicate effectively, and adapt quickly to priorities.

• Performs technical procedures as delegated by medical staff, including ECGs, splinting, and the specimen collection
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly

The Role

Emergency Services Technician

Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of medical staff in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

The Opportunity

MaineGeneral Health is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to join our growing team!

This position is 36 hours per week. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

The Work

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs and reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions

Compensation Information

$19.65 - $34.39

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
