Job summary

ServingSchools seeks Ed Techs for PreK-12 settings in Maine. Positions include 1:1 and small-group support in general education and special education environments across multiple towns.

The Ed Tech 3 role focuses on implementing behavioral intervention plans and supporting ABA services under supervision, coordinating with teachers and specialists to help students reach educational goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Ed Tech 3 from Maine Department of Education or willingness to obtain
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Implements behavioral intervention plans and facilitates educational and behavioral services for students with special needs
• Collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals
• Supports ABA services designed by a supervisor and participates in related training and supervision
