Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an ED Tech for Winchester Hospital. Under RN supervision, you will perform procedures to support emergency care, enhance patient comfort, and contribute to safe, high-quality outcomes in a busy ED.

The role requires CNA or nursing student status with clinical rotation or equivalent care experience, plus EMT/ER exposure. Preferred: HS diploma, EKG and phlebotomy skills, basic computer use, and crisis intervention awareness.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education
• one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience
• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred
• Emergency patient care experience
• EKG experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Basic computer skills
• Crisis Prevention/Intervention knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurse in the ED with patient care and procedures
• Support clinical staff to ensure safe, fast, quality care in emergencies
• Monitor patients, document care, and communicate changes to the team
• Provide comfort and safety to patients and families during ED visits
